From "Gaijin-American Prisoner of War", a graphic novel written and illus.d by me, edited by Rotem Moscovich and publ.d by Disney/Hyperion, April 2014. Water color, gouache, 2012.
Wow Matt-- my 10-year-old son and I checked your book, Gaijin- American Prisoner of War, out from the library recently and we love it! My son has been a WWII nut since he could barely talk, (weird hobby for a toddler) and he's already read through Gaijin multiple times. I'm going to buy him his own copy, and will definitely be choosing this one as a birthday gift for some his friends. Our family is from San Francisco, and we love how your illustrations capture The City. Aiden would like to request more stories by you, featuring young boys, WWII planes, and tanks!
Love the perspective and colors:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, theartofpuro! Very much appreciate your comments over these past months. Best to you, Matt
